Interchile Opens Two Atacama Substation-Expansion Tenders

On 27 October, Interchile, a subsidiary of ISA Energía, announced international tenders to expand 220-kV GIS facilities at the Nueva Cardones and Nueva Maitencillo substations. The published reference investment values are US$1,896,506 and US$1,880,310 respectively, while tender documents are available from 28 October to 18 December 2026 for a combined fee of 25 UF including VAT; energy developers and infrastructure contractors can explore engineering simulations, asset monitoring and power-system analytics, while HPC can provide technical computing support through a project-specific quotation.
