Varaždin Launches Approximately €100 Million Public-Facility Investment Programme

On 28 October 2026, the City of Varaždin signed a €25 million EIB loan agreement contributing to a wider investment programme of approximately €100 million. Planned developments include school expansions, cultural and sports facilities, energy-efficient public buildings and improved public spaces, supported by a combination of EIB financing, EU funds and city resources.
