Azerbaijan Places AZN 704 Million in Treasury Balances into Term Deposits

On 30 October, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Finance reported that AZN 704 million in treasury account balances had been placed in term deposits during the month. This represents a significant treasury-management activity, although it is not a new private-sector investment contract.
