REM Industries Inaugurates US$45 Million Ferrosilicon Plant in Limpio

On 27 October 2026, Paraguay highlighted the inauguration of REM Industries’ ferrosilicon production facility in Limpio, representing an initial investment of approximately US$45 million. The plant has planned annual production capacity of 20,000 tonnes and is expected to create more than 600 direct and indirect jobs as operations develop. The project creates opportunities for industrial equipment suppliers, raw-material providers, engineering contractors and export logistics companies.
